In the 1950’s, way before pints were pulled under this roof, it housed a drapery shop run by two sisters. One sister specialised in making curtains and the other in making clothing and doing alterations. Almost 60 years later, we are proud to open a new dining and drinking area named “the sewing room” to honour our history and the legacy of women in business in the Terenure community. Our Sewing Room is available to book for private family and social gatherings and can accommodate up to 12 people.
At all other times it’s a lovely area to relax over a drink and some food. We hope you enjoy the experience.
